Jonathan Reeves Architects remodelled this 3 bedroom Victorian terrace home in Bristol into a 4 bed/2 bath house.
The first project was a loft conversion to create a home office. This involved exploring several different options to create the best use of space within the loft and also the first floor itself. The final solution was modelled in 3D to evaluate and test the ideas. This proved very successful in creating a dramatic treble height space within the circulation zone of the house lit by a large Velux which poured light into the whole house.
The second project was for a kitchen diner and involved the removal of a large chimney breast that was separating the spaces. The resulting kitchen was a joy to use and opened up the whole house to the incredible views and garden accessed via a raised deck.
